During recent anti-poaching patrols, RR staff stopped a young giraffe that had been caught in a snare.
Immediately a veterinarian was called out, and the team assisted in keeping the giraffe still and calm while the snare was removed and the wound treated.
Once revived, the youngster immediately dashed off to rejoin it’s mother. - Great teamwork!
