Pangolin Preservation!

Over the last few months, Rhino Revolution staff have been busy with the rescue, rehabilitation and release of Temminck’s Pangolins confiscated from the illegal trade.
Working alongside wildlife veterinarians and nature conservation, RR vet nurse Jacky Spiby, and the orphanage staff attended to different male pangolins that came in during the dry winter months. This is due to them foraging for food for extended periods during times of drought, and being more visible in the dry bushveld.
One of these was luckily still strong and was able to be released immediately.
