Our focus is in South Africa, where we are committed to protecting iconic black and white rhino from the barbaric illegal wildlife trade. Poaching rhino for their horn has triggered a precipitous decline in numbers and today their future hangs in the balance. We are passionate about turning the tide and are proud to partner with, and support, highly skilled wildlife professionals, ethical NGOs, global volunteers and a range of stakeholders to deliver maximum impact.
To date, we have a proven track record of successfully rescuing, rehabilitating and re-wilding orphaned calves, who are now safely breeding in the wild and contributing to hundreds of ethical, horn trimming initiatives as a protective measure. But what we do collectively in the next few years remains a matter of survival.
We recently made a strategic shift with our mission from "rescue, rehabilitate, release" to "reimagine, revalue, restore”. This change reflects an urgent need to a more proactive approach towards addressing the ongoing threats to rhinos and their habitats. By reimagining the traditional conservation efforts, revaluing the significance of live rhinos over their illegal trade value, and focusing on restoring habitat with rhinos as keystone species in ecosystems, Rhino Revolution aims to create a sustainable and long-term impact on rhino conservation.
